At Fusion Lamps we offer a guarantee/warranty with all of our LED products. Depending on the particular product the guarantee will vary from a minimum of 1 year up to a 3 year guarantee. Please note that often when the guarantee period changes this is reflected in the lamp life.
Irrelevant of the duration of the guarantee all products are still subject to the below terms and conditions within the stated warranty period.
Fusion Lamps will replace any faulty or defective products. For clarification “replace any faulty or defective products” does not include any additional costs or expenses which may be incurred.
The guarantee does not cover damage due to misuse or negligence, accidental damage, acts of God, water damage, general wear / tear and installations in violation of any applicable standard, code or instruction.
A lamp is deemed faulty or defective if it fails to illuminate or alternatively if the lumen output falls below 70% of the lumens stated on the packaging.
The guarantee period commences from the date the product was purchased, proof of purchase will be required to redeem the guarantee.
The ambient temperature never exceeds the operating temperature range of -20°c to 40°c.
The relative humidity in the installation doesn’t exceed 80% RH, or exceed the IP rating of the lamp/luminaire.
Lamps are not subjected to more than the stated switching cycles on the packaging.
The lamps are used in a luminaire with a minimum 10mm air flow around the lamp excluding the cap.
The electrical installation in which the lamp operates is not subjected to voltage fluctuations exceeding 230V + 10% or - 6%.
In the event of a failure/defect occurring, the LED product shall be returned to Fusion Lamps, Millfield Industrial Estate, Arksey Lane, Bentley, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom, DN5 0SJ. The carriage cost to return the product shall be covered by the customer. Upon receiving the product Fusion Lamps will be allowed time to investigate the source of the problem. At Fusion Lamps request, access shall be given to the installation to carry out any further investigations to determine the cause of failure.
If it is concluded that the issue is due to manufacturing or material defect, Fusion Lamps will send a replacement product, the carriage cost for the replacement will be covered by Fusion Lamps. Please note only faulty or defective products will be replaced.
Fusion Lamps reserves the right to make the final decision on the validity of the claim.
