In the heart of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, you'll find the 5 Red Star Bovey Castle. Situated in 275 acres of beautiful countryside, the castle was first opened as a hotel and golf resort in 1930 by Great Western Railways. The luxurious castle boasts 60 bedrooms, 22 self-catering country lodges, two restaurants, the Elan Spa and an award winning 18 hole championship golf course.
To complement the hotel and surrounding areas, the hotel wanted lighting to reflect the age and ambience of this substantial building. In partnership with CEF Newton Abbot, they chose Fusion flicker flame lamps to replicate authentic traditional illumination. The flicker flame LED lamp not only produces an extremely realistic and atmospheric flame effect, but is a mere 4-10W, helping save energy and maintenance costs.
