Cottam is a coal-fired power station near Retford in Nottinghamshire, capable of generating enough electricity for approximately 7.5 million UK homes.

As part of their ongoing commitment to saving energy, the station has retro-fitted x 96, 150W HID lamps in their turbine room replacing 400W HID lamps, saving 24,000W per hour and giving a clear, clean, crisp working environment.
